Marinating helps tenderize and accentuate flavor profiles. Depending on the food, we recommend a quick (seafood, veggies, fruit) or overnight marinade (lamb, beef, pork, and poultry).
Roland® Unseasoned Rice Wine Vinegar
Mild vinegar with a tangy and slightly sweet flavor.
Additional Applications: Salad dressings, pickling veggies, and slaws
Roland® Fish Sauce
Sweet, salty, briny, and pungent sauce prepared from fermented anchovies.
Additional Applications: Pasta, yogurt dips, salsas
GLAZES & DUNKING SAUCES
Glazes and dunking sauces add yet just another layer of flavor and texture to grilled items. Apply glazes during the last few minutes of cooking to avoid any risk of burning.

Za’atar is a dynamic Eastern Mediterranean finishing spice blend with an earthy, citrusy, and nutty flavor. Though its recipe may vary by region, the main components include hyssop, sumac, and sesame seeds.
Fun Fact: Za’atar refers both to the spice mixture and to the wild oregano (also called hyssop) from which the mix derives.
Ingredients: Herbs (Hyssop, Oregano, Thyme), Sesame Seeds, Salt, Soybean Oil, Sumac, Citric acid.
- Traditional: serve over labne (yogurt) or hummus
- Rub for roasted chicken or vegetables
- Roll into log of goat cheese and pair with pita chips or crackers
